Singing along to Karaoke Machines Works

Just like anything else though, you have to make the effort to do it right. Karaoke machines would be the next best thing to actually being in a band really.

The beauty of this is that you have a talented band at your disposal and you can bet that they’re doing everything right. If it doesn’t sound right to you when you’re singing it, well that’s because it’s not. The drawback to it is that you don’t have an actual “coach” helping you, observing when you should breath etc. I would love to have had the opportunity to use karaoke machines, I’ve actually never sang karaoke.

You really could improve using these machines, Just throw on your favorite song, and start singing it until you get it right! Check out the machine below, it’s only about forty bucks and you can use your own music with it. What could be better than that? Go ahead and click on the image, a new window will open up for you to check it out. It’s one of the most affordable karaoke machines I’ve seen anywhere…

As usual, pay attention to your pitch, especially at the end of your phrases. Some singers have a tendency to let their pitch fall on the last note of the phrase they’re singing. I understand that when you favorite singer does it, it sounds cool and gives a little more emotion to the vocals. If you’re going to do it, make sure you match the pitch of their last note. Otherwise what happens is you start to sing flat at the end of every phrase you sing. This means you’re flat almost half of the time. When you’re using karaoke machines you have a flawless band behind you so it actually makes your job of learning to sing come easier.

Take each word or line and dissect it. Slowly figure out EXACTLY what note you need to sing for each word. Break down each line or even each word if need be to find all the notes in it. Once you’ve figured them out, put them together and sing them slowly, making sure you’re hitting each one. Gradually speed up the phrase until you can sing it at the proper speed. It’s simple to do, just make it sound right. If you’re flat, go higher, if you’re sharp, come down a bit. You’ll be surprised at how quickly your ear develops. Don’t just worry about the cool parts, make sure you get everything right. You can do it, so don’t be afraid to try.

As an alternative to a whole karaoke machine system you might think about karaoke cds
