Recently I’ve used singing videos to help me improve the quality of my voice. Over the years I’ve done different types of lessons but with the ease of using videos that you can obtain online, it just makes more sense to do it online.
The Singing Success Online program by Brett Manningis by far the best video lesson material available on the web. You’ll hear me say time and again throughout this site that Brett is a true professional and he has the credentials to prove it. He is the vocal instructor to the stars and you’re simply going to learn when you use his methods. Brett teaches how easily one can increase their range by as much as an octave by simply learning to relax and use what is known as the head voice. He teaches how to sing from the chest as well. And how to effectively mix your head and chest voices so when you’re singing high range notes, you don’t sound like you’re singing falsetto. Click on the image below to check out his online program.
This is a membership site where all of the lesson material is presented in a video format. You can download them and save them to use again and again and they’re worth their weight in gold. The lessons are updated all the time and rated from beginner to advanced level to help make it easier for you to know where to start. The lessons are either taught by Brett or by one of his staff instructors. They’re all very knowledgeable and they’re all very likeable. They very capable teachers and they will help you to learn.
When you watch one of these online singing videos it’s more than just watching a ‘vocal teacher’ sit and instruct you how to do something. These videos are of actual lessons with actual clients and you effectively get to sit in on the lesson. I actually found it helpful to view them this way because you can watch the student in the lesson to help realize when they’re having an “I think I’ve got it” type of moment. It sort of helped to clue me in to the fact that I maybe should be looking for some type of realization at or around that same point.
